The 2006 Cattle Festival is dedicated to the Auxiliary Units of the Vermilion Parish Veterans Organizations.  These women maintained the homefront during our times of crisis.  They helped to build ships and airplanes, they raised the families and they kept alive the spirits of their husbands, fathers and brothers away at war. 

 women whose time and country owe such much more.
