2007 MS. CATTLE QUEEN PAGEANT

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2007

QUALIFICATIONS:  24 or older by September 30, 2005; single, married, or divorced

NO INTERVIEW!!!

REHEARSAL:  (OPTIONAL)  1:00 P.M., Abbeville High Auditorium, 1305 Wildcat

                           Drive, Abbeville  LA;  September 30, 2005

PAGEANT:  check-in time is 5:30 P.M.; pageant starts at 6:00 P.M., Abbeville High

                      Auditorium; long gown, any color

ENTRY FEE:  $45;  $5 extra for entering Photogenic (optional);  make checks to

                         La. Cattle Festival

DEADLINE:  Tuesday, September 18, 2007;  no late entries will be accepted

AWARDS:  crown, monogrammed banner, crystal bowl, flowers

ENTRY FEE AT DOOR:  friends and relatives, ages 14 and older, pay $5;  children,

                                           ages 13 and younger, pay $3

The Ms. Cattle Queen will attend the Livestock Show on Saturday, October 6, at 8:00 A.M. and will go to a brunch immediately after, around 9:30 A.M.  She will also ride on the Royalty float in the Grand Parade at 1 P.M. on the same day.  Various invitations will be obtained for her to travel somewhat during her year of reign.  She is requested to visit at least 8 festivals during her reign.

I do hereby authorize the Louisiana Cattle Festival & Fair Association, Inc. to use the herein above information and my photograph for publicity purposes.  I understand that the Louisiana Cattle Festival is not responsible for the loss of my personal belongings or for any accident or illness that may occur at the interview, rehearsal, or pageant.  I am at least 24 years of age.  If selected Ms. Cattle Queen, I will attend at least 8 other festival or fair events, as a visiting queen.  I do not presently have a queen’s title of any sort.  I will not compete for any other titles during my reign.  SHOULD I WIN THE TITLE OF MS. CATTLE QUEEN AND IT IS DISCOVERED THAT I ALREADY HAVE ANOTHER TITLE, I WILL RELINQUISH THE MS. CATTLE QUEEN TITLE, AND IT WILL BE HANDED DOWN TO MY FIRST RUNNERUP.
