INFORMATION CONCERNING THE

LOUISIANA CATTLE FESTIVAL JUNIOR QUEEN PAGEANT

(AGES 8 - 10)

DATE:  Saturday, September 22, 2007       TIME:  3:00 P.M.

PLACE:  Abbeville High School Auditorium, 1305 Wildcat Drive, Abbeville, LA

ENTRY FEES:  $40, by Wednesday, September 19, 2007; ANY ENTRY RECEIVED AFTER THIS DATE WILL BE CONSIDERED LATE AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

PHOTOGENIC FEES (OPTIONAL):  $5; picture can be either color or black and white and must be at least a 3” by 5” and no larger than 8” by 10”

Contestants must not hold another title at the time of  our pageant, with the exception of a school title.  If selected Petite Miss Cattle Queen, you may not enter any other pageants during your reign, except for  school pageants.

Please return the entry form, entry fee(s), and photograph to Abbeville Record Shop at 124 S. State St. or to Linda Comeaux, 1210 S. State St., Abbeville  LA  70510.  If further assistance is needed, please contact Linda at 893-8995.

PLEASE NOTE:  There will be an admission charge at the door for EVERYONE except the participating contestant:  $5 for 14-year-olds and older; $3 for 13-year-olds and younger.

IF IT IS DISCOVERED AFTER THE CROWNING OF THE PETITE MISS CATTLE QUEEN THAT SHE ALREADY HAS ANOTHER TITLE, SHE WILL HAVE TO RELINQUISH HER CATTLE TITLE, AND IT WILL BE HANDED DOWN TO HER FIRST RUNNER-UP.

I do hereby authorize the Louisiana Cattle Festival & Fair Association to use the herein above information and my daughter’s photograph for publicity purposes.  I understand that the La. Cattle Festival & Fair Assn. is not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings or for any accident or illness that may occur at the pageant or rehearsal.  If my

daughter is selected Junior Cattle Queen, I agree that my daughter will not compete in any other pageants during her reign, except school pageants.  I also agree that my daughter will attend various functions representing the La. Cattle Festival & Fair Assn.  My daughter does not presently hold any pageant title of any sort.  SHOULD MY DAUGHTER WIN THE JUNIOR CATTLE QUEEN TITLE, AND IT IS DISCOVERED THAT SHE ALREADY HAS A TITLE, SHE WILL HAVE TO RELINQUISH THE CATTLE TITLE, AND IT WILL BE HANDED DOWN TO HER FIRST RUNNERUP.
