Brian O'Quain

2009 Cattle Festival Ambassador

Breeze-O is known all over town as a happy and helpful person. Not many people have a harsh word to say when it comes to Breeze-O.

Attended:
1.    East Abbeville Elementary
2.    J.H. Williams
3     Abbeville High School.

Breeze-O donated a huge amount of time for any sports played at Abbeville High School. It didn’t matter to Breeze-O whether it was male or female sports, he was there helping in any way he could.

Breeze-O wanted to be a part of all aspects of High School, and there was nothing he didn’t want to participate in. Being handicapped did not slow him down. In fact Breeze-O did not recognize the fact he has a disability. According to Breeze-O, he’s the sanest person around. When Breeze-O graduated from Abbeville High School (Special Education) he was awarded a letterman’s jacket for all his time he gave to the teams.

After high school, Breeze-O worked for Winn-Dixie in Abbeville for several years. He left the store and went to work at Wal-Mart, where he is currently employed.

Activities: Breeze-O loves to donate time to different organization; he is an active member of the following organizations;
1.    Knights of Columbus.
2.    Member of the Vermilion Parish Cattle Festival Association, currently serving on the Board.
3.    Donating his time and efforts in organizing the Cattle Festival activities, assisting Mr. Francis Plaisance in any way he can.
4.    If a friend of Breeze-O is running for public office, Breeze-O loves to actively campaign for that friend.

For all his disabilities, our son Breeze-O is the most complete person I know!
