David is best known for his role as Joe Millionaire in the Fox reality show Joe Millionaire the International Affair. He was born in Savannah, Georgia in 1979 and moved to Midland Texas in 1981. There he played Baseball and Football for the Midland Lee Rebels with both teams making State Quarter finals.

After High School he attended McMurry University in Abilene Texas where he played Baseball for 2 years. He transferred to Wharton Junior College to join the Rodeo Team where he was the NIRA Southern Region Bareback Champion for 2001.

Currently he rides on the national Rodeo circuit and enjoys his ranch south of Austin, Texas.
